2. Distance
3. Special Birthday
4. Daitan ni Ikimashou↑Heart & Soul↑ (Instrumental)
The first think I thought when I saw the title for this single was “Wow, that’s a complicated title!” I’m taking a break soon so I might as well get some reviews done.

Daitan ni Ikimashou ↑Heart & Soul↑ sounds a bit too pop for my taste when it comes down to Nami Tamaki. But even so, she did a decent job with a pop-oriented song. Anyways, this is a remade version of “A Perfect Match” which was originally sung by a Swedish group called A-Teens.

Distance is one of those songs that people could forget easily. Yeah, I mean it’s unforgettable. Everything in the arrangement does nothing to stand out and the song sounds a bit mediocre. Her vocals is probably the only reason why I would listen to this song.

Special Birthday is pretty mid-tempo. The only problem is that the arrangement got a little old quickly. Yes, her vocals still own. (How many times must I repeat that?)

*gasp* A low rating for one of Nami’s earlier works!? The reason for the low rating wasn’t entirely her fault though. (Mainly because of the average arrangements)

Personal Rating: 3.5/5

  1. It IS a complicated title! Look at it, its got arrows in it and everything! lol I liked the song for the first couple listens but then it just got too cutesy. Make Progress is still my favorite album of hers regardless.
