1. KEY OF HEART
3. KEY OF HEART (English version)
BoA seems to be one of the artists on my features list that really needs to be updated. So finally, here’s a review for one of the BoA releases. (Yes, I’m still working on reviewing her newer singles too)
KEY OF HEART sounds pretty standard coming from BoA. Even with all of the pop vibes that I’m getting from the arrangement, the only unique element of the song is that there’s a nice set of strings supporting BoA’s forever awesome vocals. I guess the vocal performance does make up for the song’s flaws.
DOTCH is quite a stand out compared to KEY OF HEART. There are more components added to the arrangement and the feeling of the song gave out more of that upbeat feeling than the typical BoA songs. DOTCH really comes out to be one of BoA’s stronger works during the MADE IN TWENTY era.
Some copies of the single included the KEY OF HEART (English version). It’s not really worth the listen since there really isn’t much of a difference except the language that she’s singing in. But I do love the way BoA sings her English!
